From our rich heritage to our place in the local hospitality industry, the highest standards are always fundamental.

Whether it’s sourcing local meat for our restaurants, or sourcing local talent to staff our venues, we make sure we leave a positive mark on the local community of Emerald.

We’re always looking for ways to give back – whether that’s supporting a local footy team fundraiser, or raising valuable donations for our farmers doing it tough in drought-stricken surrounds. 

Supporting our local community:

Recent donations and charity drives:

• U.G.L.Y bartender last year raising over $7,000
• We support the Capricorn helicopter rescue – $100 a month via donation tins
• Rural aid raising over $1,000
• Supporting Yumbabimbi, a disability support service in town. Raising $100+ a month via donation tins
• Collect all bottles and cans on behalf of CQ pet rescue to help raise money for them. This raises well over $1,000
• Regular charity nights for U.G.L.Y bartender, Movember and White Ribbon day
• Breast cancer foundation charity gig raising just shy of $1,000

We also sponsor some local youth sports teams:

• Emerald Eagles Soccer Club
• Emerald Tiger’s Rugby League Club
• We support local basketball, netball association and the Emerald Seals Swimming Club with donations for fundraisers
