Stage 2 Dine In Update

Stage 2 Dine In Update
on 29 May 2020 in General News

Update: Monday 1 June 2020

The Queensland Government has developed a plan to ease coronavirus (COVID-19) trading restrictions to ensure businesses can reopen in a way that encourages business activity but does not compromise the health of our customers, staff and the community. Stage 2 of these eased restrictions commence 12 noon Monday 1 June.

Under Stage 2 of these restrictions for Queensland Outback Hotels, we will continue with retail bottle shops trading as usual and offer takeaway dining to the local community as well as hosting up to 20 patrons to dine in at one time, providing they can provide proof of residency that they are local residents. The Beer Garden and Gaming Lounges will remain closed for now.

Dine in trading hours
Open 7 days for lunch from 12pm and dinner from 5.30pm.

Bookings
During this stage we will be taking bookings only, via phone on (07) 4982 0999.

Seating times
Lunch: You may select between a 12pm or 1pm booking with a duration of 1 hour.
Dinner: You may select between a 5:30pm or 7:30pm booking with a duration of 1.5 hours.

One person per table will need to provide their full name, address, mobile number and date of birth (government requirement). We want to reassure all our customers that we are following all regulations and guidance provided by health authorities to ensure that our business is COVID Safe. Following the advice from relevant government health authorities, we have taken additional precautionary steps along with implementing a COVID Safe plan to ensure your safety within our venue.

If you are feeling unwell or you develop a fever, a cough, sore throat, or shortness of breath it is highly advisable that you stay home. Management have the right to refuse entry or ask a patron to leave if showing symptoms.

This is an important first step in supporting our community as we begin to reopen. We are looking forward to seeing more of your familiar faces as restrictions further lift.
